He was born on the Northside of Philadelphia, in an area that Life Magazine called the "OZ". They said the only way out of this neighborhood was "jail or a wooden box." At 12, he was sent to a camp for delinquent boys. He was in and out of several Philadelphia jails. By the age of 17, he became the warlord of a Philadelphia street gang with over 300 members. His last arrest was for assault and battery with the intent to kill. He has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, A Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology, and a Master's Degree in Management. He was a Police Officer and advanced to the rank Lieutenant of Detectives Division. He was a Senior Manager of a fortune 500 Company.
