The Asha Chronicles

Asha's Dad struggles to put aside memories of his own childhood traumas in order to provide his daughter, Asha, with a happy childhood. Along the way he exploits a good sense of humor, allegory, poetry, stream of consciousness flashbacks and some gritty story telling to prepare his daughter for falling in love, getting a job, marriage, finances, and even death. Asha's Dad is persistent about making fatherhood a priority even through marital separation, unemployment and devastating personal losses. Whether in the days of being a busy professional working two jobs or his time as a homeless street artist, whether in the days when she makes him laugh or breaks his heart, he values his time with his daughter and seeks to share the experience with the reader in a moving way.
