Becky Landseer is going crazy. Her divorce and two unruly kids are dragging her down.
Enter her saviour, Ben Ashton who offers to give her son, Freddie, a computer. Is this the turning point for Becky?
Just as she can see a way out, things start to go wrong as she stumbles into a ghostly nightmare.
But why? Is it her childhood coming back to haunt her when she used to see her 'little people' or is her flat simply haunted?
Or perhaps she is going mad like her poor old Great-Aunt Ellen, whom her mother refuses to talk about.
As Becky struggles to fight her demons one of Ben's employees, Will Trick, is found dead and the police assume Ben is involved.
Does Trick's death have a simple explanation or is there something more sinister? And what has it to do with Becky?
With a sharp piece of detective work and computer wizardry Ben thinks he knows the answer.
Finally, Becky is free and with Ben's help she performs a last act of defiance as she lays her ghosts to rest.
But then, are they only her ghosts?
