The Born Again Australian

Charlie Windzor hasn't got a passport, but that doesn't stop him getting on a ship bound for Australia. Helped by the crew, he enters Australia as an illegal immigrant, not knowing that he is implicated in a murder back in Gravesend. He and his childhood friend Toby try various aspects of Australian life - truck driving, opal mining, shearer's cook - while a serial killer goes free.
