The Catholic church, battered by abuse cases and a steady decline in followers, is beginning to feel like a cornered animal. Two documents are being released, with very much controversial contents. During a meeting with an Islamic assembly, tensions between both religious factions flare, and a conflict begins, that affects people all over the world. Religious leaders fall, politicians try to mediate, yet no one seems to be able to prevent a modern age crusade.
