The writing that has afforded me the space to ruminate, and to truly feel, and process all that I have endured and how it transformed into all that I have conquered. A space without judgement, and a space to work through my trauma and foster my own identity outside of being a victim of my past abuse and how it shaped my view of myself and of love. To work through my heartache,be able to sit safely with rejection and most importantly,focus on my own mind. It feels important to share beyond expectations of publishing or profit. Revisiting my work and adding to it;It has been such a cathartic time of composition.Truly, I have never loved myself, or my writing with such ferocity as I do now. And should you ever read it,I hope you will too. -D
