MIMSY is the story of Mimsy McCorckle: a well-meaning but self-satisfied young man who is not remarkable in any way, but who is nonetheless convinced that true greatness awaits him. In a journey that moves from youthful idleness to a stint in an office, from the glittering world of the wealthy to the reception of a mysterious manuscript, Mimsy gets caught up in a world of eccentrics who all blur the line between the true and the false, the real and the fantastic. It’s an odyssey that’s both funny and moving, comedic and tragic--the tale of someone being pulled along a path to discover just how important or unimportant he really is.
