Something in the Wind

I have always had a strong sense of the ridiculous which is evident in this collection of poems and monologues. Being primarily a musician my creative writing has tended towards song writing until fairly recently. Once off on this path of humorous rhyme it has almost become addictive. This comic verse is generally written with the idea of performing them in company. As such the meter of the rhyme may seem to be broken when initially reading them. This comes about from trying to pack a lot into a sentence but when read aloud the rhyming can be maintained with emphasis in the right places.
