Short stories from the places between: Dimensions are slipping all the time. Maybe you have felt it. We often transition between the past and the future through liminal versions of now. Our lives are multilayered, but we often just reside in the familiar. Sometimes it is an uneasy compromise. We constantly edit to make things fit. We find portals in perfume, jewellery, photos, ornaments and even in the particular light of an autumn day. People long gone can turn up unexpectedly in a whisper, a touch, a taste, or an echo of the past. When we let go of the illusions of the tenses, eternity bends closer than we might ever have thought. These gathered stories are all reimagined from snippets of actual events, people and places.
