Hidden away within the streets of Kawasaki, Japan exists a much older style of Okinawan Goju-ryu Karate-do that has been carefully handed down for three generations. The Senbukai Dojo was opened by Okinawan Karate pioneer Kanki Izumikawa in 1938. Making it the first Okinawan Goju-ryu on Mainland Japan. The dojo today is now under the watchful direction of Katsuya Izumikawa, the second son and Sandai Soke.
