The Silent Soldier

This book was written to pay tribute to the American Soldier and their families. It shows the sacrifice, the dedication, the hardships which they endure every day and is taken for granted by many of our citizens. It pays honor to all soldiers of all wars who have served honorably to protect and preserve the freedom we hold dear. Many of these writings plunge deep into the soul of the silent solider and reveals why he does what he does. Some show the love and devotion a soldiers’ family carries through an unknown time time of uncertinty. There is also a dedication to our Flag, under which every soldier serves and swears to defend. Many of the writings come from soldiers, many from family members, some from patriots, a few from unknown writers, but all come from the heart and the love for a soldier. There is a special tribute to the wartime history of the 45th Infantry Division and the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
