Liancourt Confessions, a series of collage works by Matthew Rose, charts a time during the spring of 2025 when the artist and author fell into a trance, hallucinating about his life and the various emotional potholes he stepped in along the way. The "confessions" are heartbreaking texts about breaking hearts; the artworks were produced by frantic tearing of paper, letting loose a blizzard of fragments, and illustrating the artist's backwards attempt to remember what happened and why.
