The NA Robotics lab embraced the proposal to create a robot that is a total emulation of the human brain and body. If an AI system doesn’t have a physical presence and cannot sense the world in a multimodal system as humans do, then its understanding of human language is incomplete. It needs a human body with all of its 5 senses to learn its cognition properly -- it also needs a perfectly emulated human brain to learn information at a human level. Through extensive research, their AI researchers found out that there is only one way the robots can learn societal laws and knowledge: by going to school from k to college, just like humans.
