Meet Tom and Sara Carter. A recently married, mixed race couple. Sara a Native American and Tomass a Mexican American. Tom soon learns Saras' tribal elders harbor strong negative feelings regarding this union. They feel this marriage will upset some of the spirits, especially the 'SMILE-CARVER'. The curse of the SMILE-CARVER becomes active and his revenge changes the once quite lives of Tom and Sara. Sara's family tries several rituals to rid them of the SMILE-CARVERS' curse.
