A Cat for Sam

A Cat For Sam is a beginner chapter book for younger children. Seven year old Sam is an only child. He never has anyone to do anything with. He thinks having a cat will keep him from being bored. However, he needs to prove to his mom and dad he is big enough to take care of one. As Sam blows out the eight candles on his birthday cake, he makes a birthday wish he hopes will come true. And when Sam finally receives his present from his parents, he can’t believe his birthday wish had actually come true.
