SCREENPLAY At the start of this adult Dark Comedy Roy Piltzer, 40, is working a children’s outdoor party along with two other clowns, Vicky and Earle. Being a professional clown has taken its toll on Roy – after 13 years he has seen more supermarket openings and kids’ birthday parties than anyone has a right to. Last year he made six grand and is feeling life slip him by. Demeaned by the rich-bitch mother of the birthday boy Roy pushes her into the pool. Turn out the lights, ‘cause the party’s over for the clowns. After his girlfriend dumps him our hero winds up between the sheets with Vicky. The pace picks up as Roy finds himself involved in a bank robbery, sees the other two clowns brutally killed along with his manager, and ends up being chased by a local gang, the mob, and the cops. Will Roy survive?
