Between The Rainbow

Have you ever met someone that changed the trajectory of your life? Like everything you thought you knew about yourself has changed and you become a stranger within yourself! In the book Between the Rainbow, an African American woman from a small town called Shady Dale, Georgia discovers a new lifestyle that might not be beneficial in her marriage. Tiana begins to embark on a life of self-discovery in which some relationships are destroyed, new bonds are made with like-minded people all while dealing with the nuisances of self-love, her religious beliefs are tested, and the social norms of a small town might be disapproving. Tiana must face her past traumas of abandonment, sexual abuse, misguided friendships, infidelity and learning that self-reliance is her strongest virtue in life. Tiana’s rainbow isn’t always colorful, but she learns that self-love is a powerful tool that will help her navigate back to making every color of her rainbow shine again. As Tiana begins to realize that every transgression that happened in her life were monumental for her to live truly and fully free Between the Rainbow.
