The Beancounter

Somewhere in the West a small town lives in dread. April 15th is coming, and soon the taxman will leave them only a fistful of dollars. Then, out of the wilderness comes a nameless Accountant, and with his help they just might get a few dollars more. Back in the real world, Brian Fitzpatrick has a plan. No one is sure of the details – maybe it is for profit, or the greater good, or perhaps for his own personal amusement – but it involves opening an office and hiring two hapless assistants for heavy filing, and other tasks as assigned... Meanwhile, the Circle Band recovers from their seemingly endless world tour. Fedya attends a pagan ceremony to meet girls. Paul and Nancy get dragged closer together; and Kate discovers that Brian is not her only admirer.
