Amy Bugbee is a writer, photographer, baker, and vanilla maker. She was born and raised in the seedy rust belt town of Calumet City, a place built on top of a landfill by notorious gangster Al Capone. Once known as Sin City, and the "Barbary Coast Of The Midwest", it had become a haven of low class drug dealers and street walkers by the time Amy came on the scene. She is married to underground icon, publisher, and conceptual artist Shane Bugbee and together they have raised much hell. They currently dwell on the North Oregon Coast in Astoria, another place with a dubious history.
