Clare Kirwan is co-founder of Poetry24 ‘where news is the muse.’ She performs as part of Liverpool’s Dead Good Poets Society and has been placed in various national and international competitions, including winning the Big Issue Big Scribble, Sefton Writing Prize and the Liverpool Poetry Slam. Her work appears in a wide range of journals and anthologies including The North; Iota; The Found Poetry Review; Binnacle; Prole; Orbis; MsLexia and Sculpted. Her first collection: The Silence Museum is published this year. She also writes short fiction. By day she works in a library – like Batgirl.
