Joanne Collicott McGuigan
Joanne Collicott McGuigan, her husband Wayne, and their cat Li'red, live a few miles outside Montague, Prince Edward Island. Joanne's parents met during the 2nd World War in England. Her mother was a nurse from Kiltane, Co. Mayo, Ireland and her father a Canadian soldier from Canterbury, New Brunswick. Joanne spend her childhood in the tiny village of Canterbury, New Brunswick, Canada. Although working in Oshawa, Ontario in the banking field was her primary profession, Joanne also wrote a dream analysis column for a local paper. The information complied from writing this column is the basis for the book, The Dream Mechanism. The author's deep faith and spiritual beliefs are evident in Child of Danaan. This book is based on the mystical journey after the sudden death of her only child. Joanne has submitted an article about her mother and the pioneer lifestyle she experienced in coming to Canada.
