Nicholas is a musician, singer, song writer who enjoys American Roots music. He lives in Redding California with his wife Roxanna, also a musician, two female boxers and a cat named Monkey. He is now retired from his careers as a wildland firefighter, he was a smokejumper fighting fires throughout the Northwest and Alaska. He then went on to become a Facilities Manager working for public education and then for a large public utility. He has brought his love for music and history together to create this, his first venture into writing. He is currently working on a second fictional novel based on his smokejumping experience.
