Carol grew up in New Zealand but has lived in Australia for most of her adult life. In her 40's Carol suffered a life threatening stroke - a bleed to the brain the size of a five cent piece. This situation radically altered her life but she never gave up her rehabilitation process. Now Carol has three post-graduate diplomas and a Masters in Writing as writing is her passion. She also works as a Sessional lecturer at a university. Carol is also an avid defender of human rights, democratic practices, freedom and justice. She is also concerned about the state of the planet's environment so has written a novel for teens (yet to be published) called, "Ester, the Warrior who Fought to Save Earth."
