Evangelistic Work

This volume supplies much that is lacking in our day philosophically, historically, and practically. One would think that Pierson was writing about contemporary issues rather than conditions which existed over 100 years ago. He succinctly states the Biblical principles which should govern our understanding of evangelism with pointed admonition to prepare the heart for evangelistic efforts. Further, he supplies information about the work of people who impacted evangelism in his day. Much of this material has been lost with time and books going out of publication.
