All of these stories are from a point in life, whether that point is a mere moment that has been creatively twisted or a phase that lasts months. They are all raw and unfiltered, the way they all should be. “Large rocks spike into the air. White-crested and looming over us. The wind is whipping my hair around my face, my face cold to touch as the frost bites my skin—seas of green crash along the sides of the road. The sheer grey rock cuddles the left of the guardrail and the rocky bouldered beaches line the opposite side. Like the rocks and the sea were amidst a fight, the old cracked road broke them up. “ The power a story has over a reader is significant. It can transport them into the story or repulse them from continuing to read. The hope was to use vivid imagery to transport the reader to the location. And allow them to be in the scene like all books should be.
