This extraordinary collection of case studies was originally put together for what was to be an even more extraordinary PebbleBash conference in Edinburgh, Scotland in June 2020. With a wonderful venue booked, more proposals and registrations than ever before, and some great Scottish activities on the program we were very excited at the prospect of joining with representatives of our global community to learn from, and be inspired by each other. Alas, COVID-19 intervened and, as with so many events, the ‘Bash was postponed until 2021. This left us with a dilemma. We had 25 inspiring stories of educational innovation from the trailblazers of the PebblePad Community but no conference at which to share them. With the support of the authors we decided that the next best thing was to make these case studies available for everyone to share, enjoy, and learn from.
