Deep Within My Soul

“Deep Within My Soul” is a book of poetry which echoes my childhood and the path that I have traveled. The poems were written over a period of years, starting when I was only eight years old. Poetry has always been my passion – it was the only thing that kept me ‘sane’ in a somewhat chaotic world. A number of the poems included in this book were first published in newspapers and magazines. I have also performed a few of them at various literary events both in the Caribbean and the United States. “Deep Within My Soul”not only chronicles my life and my growth as an individual, but it is the window to my soul, as indicated in the poem entitled, Deep Within. Free your mind. Open up your heart. Journey with me deep within my soul.
