Eighteen year old Lisanga doesn’t want to be just like the other village girls who are happy to become little more than slaves and baby machines. Lisanga wants to show the tribe that women can hunt, and provide the food that they eat, not just cook it. She is skilled with her small bow, and proves it one evening. The village chief agrees that she can join the next hunt, but Lisanga shouldn’t feel too proud because his plan is not to appreciate her skills, rather, he believes that she needs to be put in her place… and taught a lesson.
