Great Northern?

The Swallows and Amazons are all on a sailing cruise with Captain. While they explore inland, a mysterious bird is seen nesting on an island in a loch. In the end they are forced to break with the regular routine of their sailing holiday to rally to protect the local bird life which is threatened by an egg-collector.
