The practice of mindfulness is an ancient strategy that has been rediscovered in the western world which addresses the many ways in which we suffer and the remarkable relief and the return of mental and physical health that this simple yet complex practice can bring. Presented in workbook form, there are eight classes which can be done alone or in a class. The workbook includes some of the current research from medicine, neuroscience, the emerging field of interpersonal neurobiology, views from Western and Easrtern psychology, poetry, and Buddhist thought and meditations.
