An historical faction about a young woman who escapes from France in 1940, gets interviewed by the Special Operations Executive, trained in ‘ungentlemanly warfare’ and parachuted from a plane flown out of RAF Tempsford to work with the French resistance. She survives arrest, interrogation and torture by the Gestapo and escapes over the Pyrenees into Spain. Captured by Spanish police, she is interned before being released by the British and returned via Gibraltar to England, only to be given additional training and sent on a second top secret mission in France before D-Day.
