A Snowboarding Life

Hamish has been living "A Snowboarding Life" for as long as he can remember. We meet him as he stands high on a mountain peak about to drop down into a whirlwind of life changing events that not only threaten his very existence, but thrust self-analysis and doubt upon what was once his simple, happy, and uncomplicated life. "The story is based on my experiences while living in the mountains. Vivid memories of events that happened, emotions I felt, and days that I only just survived. I once inadvertently snowboarded off a massive cliff and lived, and that story is wound into the tale. I’ve also been caught up in an avalanche, a frightening episode that is described in detail in the novel too. For many years, the life I lived completely revolved around snowboarding and living in the moment, always chasing powder, escaping the crowds, and pushing snowboarding to its limits.
