Plastic Bone Plastic Soul

Plastic snow falls onto Mirage, an isolated city in a distant future. Cynthia Newman remembers the snow, that her mother has died, and nothing else. She only has a small note to find the man known as Jackal. An ex-military vigilante whose body augmentations are disintegrating rapidly, Jackal has a hatred for those in power that seems to be personal more than ideological. In a final attempt at a life with purpose, the two look into a series of missing persons cases to uncover the truth about the body mods and present them to the public, cutting through biological super soldiers, descending into dark caves, and discovering the truth about the shadow government’s secret biological technology.
