An Ordinary Life Re-visited

As Soren Kierkegaard said: “Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived forwards”. At one level, my book is a catalogue of personal scribblings, events, and reflections. At another level, it is a coming-of-age documentary – from youth to maturity. At a still further level, it is an account of coming-to-terms with modern life. I have attempted to show what my life has been like at various stages of emotional and intellectual development and have attempted to come to some conclusions about my life in particular and the world in general. I have read books on psychology, science, philosophy and sociology, and they have given my life a sense of balance and optimism.
