Following the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D., the religion of the Israelites was subverted by the corrupt, oral traditions of the Pharisees. Because they no longer had a Temple, a priesthood, or sacrifices, the Jewish religion morphed into a debating society, the results of which were codified centuries later in the Talmud. Thus, it is the Talmud—not the Hebrew Bible—that provides the hermeneutic system and is considered the holiest book of orthodox Judaism. American Christians have been taught to view themselves as spiritual younger siblings to Judaism, bound together in a shared "Judeo-Christian" heritage. Yet, the weird cult of "Judeo-Christianity" is an absolute oxymoron. It is a historical and theological fraud. The early Church Fathers knew of no such "Judeo-Christian" tradition, simply because Judaism as it exists today did not exist before Christ. To claim that modern Judaism is the root of Christianity is an absurdity...The true Israelites are simply the Christians; while the followers of today’s Judaism adhere to a post-Biblical, Babylonian cult totally at variance with Biblical Christianity and even the Old Testament.
