Places of Haven

The head of the Reorganized Tarran Orthodox Kassamist Church, Supreme High Elder Jurri Daxonu has grown alarmed about Earth-born members of his ethnic group, the Tarrans, forgetting about the ways of their ancestral culture as it existed in the days before Udek armies conquered Tarranaru. The Supreme High Elder therefore takes his followers from their home world of Thyson to Earth to convert their fellow Tarrans there to the ways of their ancient cultue. Jurri's crusade draws the attention of Lord Protector Jamini Gorothi, the ruler of Udekaru. To shut down the RTOK's' mission on Earth and destroy Jurri's religion, the Udek dictator employs the services of members of groups he personally hates. An RTOK Guardian Elder, named Derri Egguni, arises to thwart Jamini's efforts. The conflict between the two men eventually threatens the future of Zimiduru, a town sacred to the RTOK's.
