Left for Dead

High school senior, Drake Caldwell, lives in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Not being very athletic but this 165 pound teenager enjoys riding his dirt bike in the Red Desert. One day, he was in the desert and the early-morning temperature had already climbed to 98 degrees. Drake decided to pack of his bike in the rear of his pickup truck and head home. However, Murphy, his canine companion, found something a short distance away. Upon closer inspection, Drake came to see a partially-nude young man; lying face down on the hot sandy floor. It was obvious that the man was dumped there, but their was no footprints or vehicle tire impressions anywhere in the sand. He took the young stranger home and cared for him. When the stranger came to, he hand no memory. It was soon discovered that the man got his memory back and said that his name was Toric. He also realized that he was far from home as an extraterrestrial. He sent a signal home, and now began the waiting for a response. For 5 months, Torik lived as a human.
