Teaching the INTASC Standards Through Project-Based Learning

Thousands of college of education administrators make the decision each year to adopt LiveText as a tool for collecting unit and program data. The goal: to determine the degree to which candidates can demonstrate the standards of the conceptual framework for the college of education. In order to collect data, student work must be assessed making artifacts the key to data collection. This book is designed with two objectives in mind: 1) to teach the concepts necessary for developing artifacts that demonstrate the standards, and 2) to provide students with the necessary skills for developing learning activities that integrate technology into the student centered classroom. The artifacts are designed to make the connection between the teaching and the technology. LiveText is the tool that makes it happen.
