Civil Sense

The American Civil War resulted in over a million US causalities. What if the States could have found a way to resolve their differences other than on the battlefield? Could peaceful solutions have been found for the conflicts between States Rights versus the Federal Government and slavery versus freedom? Will we one day learn that peace is harder upfront to facilitate and much better in the long run than war? What if there was not an American Civil War? ……….
