Born and raised on the west side of Baltimore, Maryland by a single parent mother struggling to raise 4 kids, Edward got into the streets at the tender age of 12 searching for something to validate his self worth in his transition from boyhood to manhood. He got engulfed into the street life that led him to be convicted for crimes that he didn't commit, which left him bitter and angry and full of rage. After years of struggling to reform and redefine himself, Edward began writing poetry to escape his harsh reality.
Creating his own style of poetry, Edward not only expresses his most intimate feelings, thoughts, and desires, but uses it to bring awareness to the many circumstances that many people are forced to endure as a result of living amidst poverty that's overshadowed with drugs, crime, gangs, and corruption rotting to its core. His aim is to inspire and uplift the souls of people who've faced many of the same struggles and adversities that he's faced throughout his life.
