Just Between Us: Book II

Ninety-five years ago, Elanore Clare Allen was born in St Joseph, Michigan . Elanore was the second born of six children. Her father, Roscoe Lynd, was an undertaker and her mother, Elizabeth Lynd, was a high school English teacher. Elanore married Mitchell Allen in 1932 during the Great Depression. They were married for 51 years and raised six children. Elanore was a stay at home wife and mother and enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Elanore resides at The Inn at Cass Lake in Waterford, Michigan where she enjoys attending the poetry readings every week. She still enjoys knitting and crocheting and almost always is seen with a project in hand.
