Our Baby

"You despised everything that I was. And you loved everything that I could have been." In an eerie tragicomedy set in what could be just anyone's dining room, Emma and James keep it all together for the sake of their baby: a constant reminder of what their love used to be, of the projects they have made together. Despite their best efforts to paper over the cracks, matters come to a head when the friends they host for dinner appear to be the perfect couple, forcing Emma and James to come to terms with the sorry state of their own relationship. Our Baby premiered in London in September 2016 at The Bread and Roses Theatre. The Lettuce Dream Theatre Company, founded by Eleonora Fusco, is committed to produce new writing and to promote and provide fair remuneration of cast and crew.
