Roy Louis Comstock was born on May 17, 1928, in Oklahoma City, the youngest of four children. His father, Walter
Comstock, Sr., was a short order cook. His mother, Lilly Belle Dye Comstock, had already given birth to Roy’s two brothers, Jim and Walter, Jr., known as Mickey, and his sister, Pearl.
A beloved husband, pastor, father, grandfather, and entrepreneur, Rev. Comstock had close ties to Wheaton
College and a successful ServiceMaster franchise in DuPage County.

The book presents a photographic record of Roy's life, and features the earliest known picture of him, as a teenager.
