A Screenplay. Felix Bredwell is appointed to the Emu Island parish in rural Australia. With his new posting comes the chaplaincy of the Emu Island reformatory for boys - a highly successful establishment. Beneath the cleanliness and orderliness, Felix finds a brutal regime, sanitised by clean reports and government indifference.
