If Edgar Allan Poe and Emily Dickinson had a son together, he would write like George Rosatone. He would write with the irony of Stephan Crane, the imagery of H.P. Lovecraft, and a little of the irreverence of Charles Bukowski thrown in for good measure. Even so, every useful model at some point disappears, and the result here is a cheeky George Rosatone. His poems, stories, and photographs shift your state of mind with a hopeful sense of joy in a dark hallway of loneliness. Rosatone makes you feel like you have to get a grip on your own imagination, all the while shocking and delighting you with the perfect mix of horror and humor.
