White Sunrise

In the forty-eighth century, the Tsar Pretender, Tsar Valdemar II, has usurped the Romanov throne in a bloody coup, destroying ships not loyal and sending others into certain death. Rurik, under the command of Anna Garitsyn, has disgorged her troops ¬on Realtu to little or no resistance. Lured away by a false ¬distress call from a support ship, she is nearly destroyed when Kutosov’s hidden bomb ¬explodes. Surviving by luck and courage, Garitsyn and the crew of¬ Rurik at last grasp the full extent of Kutusov's treachery. They¬ return to the capital to engage two undamaged flagships in no-quarters combat. Unaware Rurik is above, Baron Tsaitsev by ¬chance stumbles across two Ansaxe farmers carrying the last child of Nicholas to fulfill at 5,000-year old destiny.
