Welcome to The Bottoms: Once a cradle for the Louisiana blues, this neighborhood has become a ghost town inhabited by panhandlers, conmen, addicts, derelicts--and now one college-educated white boy. Though the area is feared and avoided by any sensible locals, Henry decides to fire up his pirate-themed van and dive into the heart of it in search of his stolen laptop. Join him as he navigates this world and its broken dreams, in an adventure that is at turns comic, tragic, and introspective, while ultimately providing an unforgettable view into the lives of some of our most forgotten neighbors.
