Remembering Kai Li

We lived with our friend Kai Li the cat for seventeen years and became very close to her. Her death by euthanasia in 2019 was caused by a broken leg that could not be reasonably repaired. Kai Li’s advanced age had led us to understand that her end was coming but the actual event still took us by surprise. This book, written as part of my grieving process, is brief but contains the core of what I want to remember about my friend and what I think might interest others.
