I found a world of opportunity and the chance discovery of a forgotten Cornish manuscript led me on a journey that changed my life forever. It is a story that must be told. A story from the past that still resonates today. A Victorian woman's story of love and loss disclosed the constraints on her life and revealed the constraints on mine. In writing this book I encountered problems I had never envisaged. Publishing it has been little short of a bloody miracle!
