Will to Write Spring 2012

Our Life Stories writers group meets each Monday morningat the Madison, Wisconsin Meadowood Neighborhood Center to share personal experiences and express them through both the written and the spoken word. The group's purpose is to capture and preserve those pieces of memory that make up our lives. The premise is that each life story is a microcosm of the story of humankind, a part of the journey.We believe that no story is too small, to insignificant to be told. When we sit down to write-or stand up to tell our story, we become, in the deepest sense, a part of all humanity. We reach down to the core of our being. We join the human race. The essays in this volume reflect that belief.
